Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026. This site is an independent SynthID guide and paid-report service. We are not Google, DeepMind, or any SynthID partner.
Who we are
checksynthid.com (“we”, “us”) provides educational content about Google’s SynthID watermark and optional paid products such as batch reports and checklists. Free detection itself runs on Google’s official tool at synthid.com. We do not operate Google’s detector and are not affiliated with Google.
What we collect
- Contact email and messages — when you email us at upgrow.us@gmail.com to ask a question or place an order.
- Order details — product chosen, payment confirmation (once online payments are enabled), and notes you send about the files or use case.
- Uploads for paid reports — media files or links you voluntarily provide so we can fulfill a Batch Report or similar order. We use these only to complete that order.
- Basic technical data — standard web server or hosting logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) may be collected by our host (e.g. Vercel) for security and reliability. We do not sell this data.
We do not require an account to read this site. We do not intentionally collect special-category personal data. Please do not upload content you are not authorized to share.
How we use information
- To answer support and order emails
- To fulfill paid reports, checklists, and related deliverables
- To improve the site and prevent abuse
- To comply with law if required
We do not sell your files or email addresses. We do not use paid-report uploads for advertising or model training.
Retention
Paid-report uploads and working copies are kept only as long as needed to deliver the order and handle reasonable follow-up support — typically up to 14 days after delivery, then deleted or irreversibly removed from active storage, unless you ask us to keep a copy longer or law requires retention. Order emails and payment records may be kept longer for accounting and dispute resolution (often up to a few years).
Sharing
We may use processors that help us run the site or take payments (for example hosting, email, or Stripe once enabled). They process data on our instructions. We do not share your uploads with third parties for their own marketing. Free checks you run yourself on synthid.com are governed by Google’s privacy terms, not ours.
Cookies and analytics
The static marketing pages may work without custom cookies. Our host or future analytics tools may set essential or measurement cookies. If we add analytics, we will prefer privacy-respecting options and update this policy.
Your choices
Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, or to ask that we delete remaining uploads after an order. Contact: upgrow.us@gmail.com.
Children
This site is aimed at adults and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves (for example when Stripe checkout goes live). The “Last updated” date above will change when we do.
