Terms of Service

The service
checksynthid.com provides independent educational content about SynthID / AI watermarks and optional paid products (for example Batch Report and Quick Guide). Free media checks should be performed on Google’s official SynthID Detector at synthid.com.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of Google, DeepMind, OpenAI, Apple, NVIDIA, or any SynthID partner. We do not claim to own or operate Google’s detection engine.
No substitute for official detection
Our guides and paid reports help with workflow, documentation, checklists, and interpretation. They are not a guarantee of authorship (AI or human). SynthID detection is one signal among many. “Detected” / “not detected” outcomes depend on the official tool, file condition, and partner coverage, which can change.
Paid products
- Prices shown on the site (e.g. $9.99 Batch Report, $4.99 Quick Guide) are one-time fees unless stated otherwise.
- The $9.99 Batch Report includes up to 20 files with typical turnaround of 2–3 business days after we confirm your file list. Extra files or 50+/100+ batches require a custom quote.
- Until online checkout (Stripe) is enabled, you may order by email at upgrow.us@gmail.com. We will confirm scope, payment method, and delivery before work begins.
- Delivery is by email (PDF report, checklist, or similar digital materials) — not instant download while payments are “coming soon.”
- You must only upload or share files you have the right to share. Do not send illegal, highly sensitive, or confidential material you are not authorized to disclose.
- Uploads for paid reports are used only to fulfill your order and are retained briefly as described in our Privacy Policy.
Refunds
Digital products and completed reports are generally non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law or if we fail to deliver the agreed scope. If something goes wrong, email us and we will work in good faith to fix it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt hosting, scrape in a way that harms the service, or misrepresent our content as an official Google product. Do not use our materials to make false public claims about media authorship.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and products are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that detection-related guidance will be error-free or that results will meet your legal, editorial, or compliance needs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on watermark checks or our reports (including publish / don’t-publish decisions). Our total liability for any claim related to a paid order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.

Links to synthid.com and other third-party sites are for convenience. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we revise this page.
