SynthID Detector — editor checklist
Use before publish. Pair with the official portal at synthid.com.
A. Before you upload
- Prefer the least-compressed / original master file
- Note filename, source, and intended use (story, ad, social)
- Confirm you are allowed to process this file
- Sign in on the official Detector (quota is commonly ~10 checks/day)
B. During the check
- Upload one asset at a time; wait for a clear portal result
- Record: date/time, account used, result label (Detected / Not detected / Unclear)
- Screenshot or export a note for your desk if policy requires an audit trail
- If unclear, retry with a better master before escalating
C. How to read results

D. Copy blocks (short)
Caption / note (Detected): “SynthID Detector check on [date]: watermark detected. One signal among others; not sole proof of authorship.”
Caption / note (Not detected): “SynthID Detector check on [date]: no watermark detected. Does not prove human authorship.”
Internal Slack/email: “Checked via official synthid.com. Result: [X]. Quota remaining today: [n]. Next step: [recheck / publish with caveat / escalate].”

- You have more files than a quick spot check
- You need a filled multi-file table for an editor or client
