How to Batch-Check SynthID Without a Public API
Teams often ask for a “SynthID API” to verify a folder of campaign assets or a news dump. For consumers, Google’s free detector at synthid.com is a signed-in web tool with about ~10 checks per day — not an open public Detector API. This independent guide explains a practical batch workflow, what our optional Batch Report ($9.99) actually is, and why we will not claim to bypass Google.
The constraint (say it plainly)
- No consumer public Detector API (at the time of writing). Free checks happen in the browser after you sign in.
- ~10 checks / rolling 24 hours is the commonly reported quota (images, with separate video/audio buckets in Gemini help). Details: SynthID Detector daily limit.
- Near-duplicate uploads may burn quota faster. Prefer originals.
- CheckSynthID is not affiliated with Google. We do not wrap a private Google API or sell “unlimited API access.”
When you have ~20 vs ~100 files
| Volume | Practical approach |
|---|---|
| ≤ ~10 high-risk files | Do them yourself today on synthid.com. Log results. Walkthrough: How to use SynthID Detector. |
| Up to ~20 files + a shareable table | Optional Batch Report — $9.99: filled results, interpretation notes, safer publishing language. Typical turnaround 2–3 business days. Preview: sample Batch Report. |
| ~50–100+ files | Multi-day triage on the official tool and/or a custom quote (longer turnaround). Email upgrow.us@gmail.com with count and deadline. There is still no magic API shortcut. |
Step-by-step batch workflow (DIY)
-
Inventory and score risk
Build a simple sheet: filename, source, destination (ads, homepage, social), and risk (high / medium / low). Check hero and contested assets first; defer low-risk stock until later windows.
-
Prepare originals
Use the least-compressed master. Avoid re-checking near-identical crops. For video/audio duration caps, see Check video & audio for SynthID.
-
Run free checks within quota
Sign in at synthid.com, upload one prioritized file at a time, and record Detected / Not detected / Unclear with date and operator. Stop when the official UI says you hit the limit.
-
Phrase results carefully
No SynthID ≠ human-made. Templates: Not detected ≠ human. Brand teams: SynthID for marketers. Newsrooms: SynthID for journalists.
-
Plan the remainder
Schedule the next rolling window, split ownership only if org policy allows (do not game Google’s terms), or request documentation help via Batch Report / custom quote.
What our $9.99 Batch Report is (and is not)
- Is: A filled verification report for up to 20 files — results table, interpretation notes, safer caption/publish language — using the official detector in an honest workflow.
- Is not: Google’s product, a private clone of DeepMind’s engine, unlimited checks, or a public API key.
- Turnaround: Typically 2–3 business days after we confirm your list. Larger (~100) jobs are custom and take longer because quota still applies.
Orders may still be email-based until Stripe is live: upgrow.us@gmail.com.
FAQ
Is there a public SynthID Detector API I can call?
Not for general consumer use at the time of writing. Free verification is the signed-in web experience at synthid.com. We do not sell Google’s API.
Can you check 100 images in one day?
Not as a same-day unlimited API job. The official free tool has a daily-style quota. A ~100-file job needs multi-day scheduling and/or a custom quote with a realistic timeline.
Will creating more accounts give me more checks?
We do not recommend gaming the quota. It may violate the official product terms, and similar-file lockouts exist to discourage abuse. Prioritize or use a documented multi-day workflow instead.
Are you Google / DeepMind?
No. CheckSynthID is an independent guide and optional paid documentation service. Free detection always starts at synthid.com.
Start with free official checks for today’s high-risk files. Need a structured table for up to 20 files? Order the Batch Report.
